Experience I have been giving private tuition since late 2005, when I was still in university. I also have a year of teaching experience at SAJC in 2010 as a contract teacher. I enjoy coaching students who are struggling in their studies. I enjoy the process of working with my students to discover the areas of their weaknesses and to work on them till they get the concepts right.

Most of the time, my students started off with little understanding of what is required of them to get better results. They tend to think that those who get straight As are smarter and/or work harder. That is only half the story. Besides working hard, most of them do not know that they also need to take note of things such as time management during examinations, preparation of a proper study time table before they embark on their revision etc. These are the things that will make a big difference to the kind of grades that they are consistently getting. I have been using these techniques since my secondary school days and they have proven to be extremely useful to me till today.

Combining hard work with proper examination techniques, I was able to achieve 7 A1s for my O levels and 4 As for my A levels. In 2003, while I was studying at NUS, I was Deans listed for achieving a perfect semester CAP score of 5.0 (Top student of cohort). All these are possible only because I applied the right methods to my studies. I want to pass on what I have learnt and developed all these years to my students.
Commitment I am available on all days. Please check my schedule table for the lastest update.
