I have four years' experience in tutoring lower and upper primary school students. I have taught primary 3 to 6. Therefore, I am very familiar to the upper primary level syllabus.

Currently, I am tutoring 2 primary 4 and 1 primary 5 students. All my students' results improved significantly, from a borderline pass grade to around 70 marks.

To ensure that students understand every concept in the syllabus, I dedicate time and effort into comprehensive, but easy to understand explanations. This is in accordance with my belief that students require a good grasp of all the necessary concepts in order to score well in exams.

For reinforcement of concepts, I may make use of materials such as assessment books and past years' examination papers. Should the need arises, I may also draft simpler or tougher questions of my own to aid in students' understanding of the concepts. In addition, while going through practice questions with students, I will capture important points of each chapter and illustrate the many different types of examination questions.

Patience is my strength. I strongly believe that subjecting students to excessive verbal abuse will not produce good results. Taking time and effort to understand your child through a softer approach may be a better way to set him/her onto the correct path.
