Had been Engineer for 19 years, 8 years in China and 11 years in Singapore. Converted to singapore citizenship since 2009. Being full-time tutor now, having three years experience of teaching chinese for primary and secondary students, and business mandarin for adult. After giving tuition to P1 boy, his grades has improved from fail (F) to passed(B). And teaching 3x P1, 1x P4, 1x P5, 1x S3 chinese and 2x adult business Mandarin currently(Sep' 2012). I believe in using simple analogies and examples and memory techniques, such as stories, to help my students to understand even the most difficult concepts, because it is only when they truly comprehend a concept that they will be able to tackle any form of questions in the exams, instead of only trying to remember the answer in assessment books. I'm proud of being tutor for helping students to improve themself. Hope my advantage of Chinese background will be helping the students to get more Chinese information, such as history, culture and speaking skill to win in the future career and real life .
