Experience/Remarks

I am a serious and committed tutor who treats every tuition assignment seriously. A tuition teacher can be a huge investment to the parent, and it is important that they make the right choice. Being a full time tutor, I am the difference between a tutor who comes to serve out his time, and a cheerleader who coaches the child for future success. I help students mark extra homework if they are able to do them, I am forthcoming with help on MSN, contactable at any time, and help to source out for worksheets. Over time, I believe this creates an independent mindset in the student as he/she will begin to apply all these techniques to his other subjects and cause an overall improvement in scores. I do this for all students regardless of ability, as I believe tuition is not about helping the tutee climb a long ladder, but getting him/her to make the big leap he/she needs. I have met students who were way behind schedule and on the verge of giving up, but my refusal to budge pushed them all the way till they were able to get B. This is because I understand their quagmire, and what obstacles in their mindset they need to remove, having been a student who failed all my subjects, but pushed myself not just to receive straight As, but to win many academic competitions along the way such as the Biology Olympiad and American Math Competition, and assuming many leadership positions along the way, receiving an Astar Scholarship.
