Having obtained 45 points for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in the November 2016 examinations, I look forward to meeting and guiding fellow students particularly in HL Physics, SL Mathematics and SL Chinese. I can also offer help for HL Dance, although the latter might not be very common in Singapore. I was privileged to have been awarded the Ngee-Ann Kongsi Scholarship and the Excellence Award (for arts and academics) throughout my 6 years in SOTA, and I now seek to help fellow IB students fulfill their maximum potential.
I have enjoyed several short-term experiences whilst schooling within the IBDP. In 2014, I started off by tutoring several juniors in French as I was studying it in MOELC. In 2015, I led a team of school peers to Baray, Cambodia, where we conducted varying levels of English lessons as part of a community involvement project. Upon our return, a few of my peers and I went on to conduct several arts lessons at a children's home. In 2016, I also volunteered separately at a neighbourhood community care as a tutor for needy primary school children. Currently, I am tutoring upper secondary students in Chinese and Maths.
Commitment Level I can tutor from mid-February to end-September this year. I will be overseas from 12-24 March, and may be unavailable for a week in July.
