Experience/Remarks

I have been conducting educational workshops and facilitating hands-on scientific demonstrations for secondary school and junior college students. This experience has trained me to effectively communicate with a variety of students with different learning styles and speeds. Hence, I am able to design individualized learning processes and teaching approaches to develop students' varied abilities and skills in problem solving, as well as stimulate their interest in learning. Appropriate assistance, prompt feedback and encouragement are provided to help students overcome learning difficulties, master the right techniques and enhance self-confidence in problem-solving during examinations. My area of specialization is in Science, specifically Biology and Chemistry. I am also able to teach Mathematics and Chinese Language.

Generally, students will first be assessed on their understanding of core subjects and learning styles/interests. Subsequent teaching plans will be devised to adapt students' needs in building a solid foundation of understanding key concepts and/or teaching advanced skills through intensive learning materials to develop the student's potential during major examinations. Practical teaching objectives will be formulated to meet student's learning characteristics and weaknesses so as to foster a sense of achievement and manage expectations. Teaching aids and technological illustrations may be used to help students understand abstract concepts and cultivate
