Experience/Remarks

I have been tutoring since 2008, teaching O-level, A-level, and IB math. Most of my students began tuition with me in secondary 3, and continued tuition with me until they finish junior college. I use an inquiry-and-answer based approach in teaching. It is the method of teaching in which I ask guiding questions to encourage my students to think more critically and formulate their own problem solving strategies - a process necessary for achieving good grades in mathematics.

In 2010, after spending 3 months with me, a secondary 3 student went from D7 in midterms to A1 in final year. Another student taking H2 math in 2013 went from C in SA1 to A in JC1 promotional exam.

Commitment Level

I would like to start in September.
