Experience/Remarks
I completed my A levels with flying colors, and I believe that is thanks to my clear and concrete understanding of the concepts - I do not mug. I believe studying smart is much more important than studying hard, and that is what I always try to instill in my students. Over the past 3 years, I have given tuition to 7 JC students across different subjects of Maths, Physics, Chemistry and Economics to date, and 5 secondary students, with very positive feedback from them and their parents.
My strength is to relate to students because of our similarity in age. I can see their struggles and difficulties and explain concepts in a way they can understand. Many friends come to me for explanations, because I can simplify seemingly complex concepts. I work best with students who take the initiatives to ask me questions and be open about their weaknesses and problems. An open two-way communication is the best way for me to help them.
Commitment Level
I am able to commit on weekends, and certain weekday at night if student is in Tampines/Simei area. My commitment towards my students means as far as possible, I will show up to help them even when it is near to my exam dates.
