Experience/Remarks

Experience with Biology and Chemistry 1. Currently tutoring a year 5 IP student (equivalent to A Level JC1) in Biology and Chemistry. She has been my tutee for 3 years. Her grades are now in A1 range. 2. I have had an O level Biology student for 1.5 years. He improved from D to B range. I also had 2 other Chemistry (1 N level and 1 O level) students who improved from D range in school exams to B in final O and N level. 3.I have been offering consultation classes and holiday programmes for O and A level Biology and Chemistry too. One A level student improved from fail to pass within a few consultation classes. 4. Currently tutoring one sec 4 pure chem student, one n level bio student and one sec 3 student for biology and chemistry.

Experience in teaching Geography 1. MOE Outdoor Classroom Programme (Overseas Teaching) for O level Geography in June 2014. 2. MOE Internship for A Level Geography at AJC in July 2015.

I am a patient tutor dedicated to students who need help in academics. Lessons will be structured and planned according to interests and needs of the students so that students are engaged (to be discussed in first lesson) but a general lesson plan is as follows

1. Student share about 3 main things they remember from class about a topic to tap on prior knowledge. Clarify doubts with respect to important concepts 2. Problem-solving 3. Summary + Homework 1-2 short questions to make sure student keep in touch with subject.

Commitment Level

I am able to start asap. Assignments on weekday evenings and weekend mornings/afternoons preferred.
