I have experience in being a relief teacher in secondary school for a couple of weeks and as well as an one year experience in teaching Primary 3 and 4 Mathematics.

It was only when i had the opportunity to get in touch with the students that made me realised my passion for teaching. Students often encounter problems in doing they work and I understand how they feel. When they don't do well in certain subjects, they will get scolding from they parents. This is my experience with my tutee. However, sometimes parents did not realise that when their child did not do well, they are as sad as them. So i hope to help the students as much as possible.

Previously when I was teaching the students, their results were not extremely bad, they got a band 3 in their SA2. Therefore I was there. After the first few months with them, their results improved a little to a high band 3. During their SA1, they managed to get a band 2 and they were over the moon. Until the last exam for they year, one of the students got band 1 while the other maintained his band 2.

I believe that every students have their potential to do well. The problem lies in their self-efficacy. And thus, I hope I will be able to increase their self-efficacy, which in turn will improve their results.
