I have experience in teaching Mathematics, English, General Science (Biology, Chemistry and Physics), Literature and Spanish to various students in the Philippines, equivalent to primary and secondary levels in Singapore. I am best in teaching Mathematics, English/GP and Economics, due to academic background and interest.
In Singapore, I have taught various subjects at different levels, as outlined below
P6 Maths and English S4 (N-Level) E-Maths S4 and 5 (O-Level) E-Maths, A-Maths, Chemistry, English JC1-2 H2 Economics, H2 Mathematics, H1 General Paper
After giving Maths tuition to a P6 boy, his grades improved from E to B. After giving Maths tuition to a Sec 4 girl, her grades have improved from F9 to C6 in the first 2 months, then from C6 to A2 after another 2 months.
I like to work closely with my tutees in a one-to-one setting, to ensure that the student has my full attention. I also have a number of resources and study guides that help them in their revision. I do my best to develop good studying habits and skills in my tutees, not simply making sure that they accomplish their homework and pass their tests. I try to help my tutees become independent learners, so that they will eventually be capable of learning and revising without the constant presence of a tutor.
I am very patient with students, and I encourage them to work hard to achieve good results.
Commitment Level Although I am currently giving tuition, I can only take in more students after the second week of August. I will be out of Singapore from the second week of December to the first week of January.
