Experience/Remarks

I graduated from NUS in Physics with Honors (Distinction) in 2016 and was awarded the Post Graduate Diploma in Education (Sec) with Credit in 2017. I was also awarded the MOE Teaching Scholarship in 2012. I currently holds a teaching position in a local Secondary School.

As an educator, I am a staunch believer of my capabilities in enabling every student to maximise his or her strengths in the examination hall.

A passionate tutor who believes that every student has a unique learning pattern. This is my guiding principle in education, to develop a set of pedagogy to cater to the needs of students of varying potentials.

My key focus will be on the techniques to tackle different questions in different scenarios instead of rote-learning. In addition I am proficient in drilling students on how to adapt to exam conditions so that they will not lose unnecessary marks.

As a peer tutor for 2 years in AJC, I have helped my fellow classmates to improved their Math and Physics grade to at least a B from a U grade during the A-Levels. I am also currently tutoring a Secondary 2 student and he has made substantial improvement with every class tests. My previous tutee ,JC1, has excelled in her school's promotional exams to qualify for JC2.

To enable the child to believe in what he or she thought was impossible be it in academia or in life. This has always been my guiding principle when interacting with students.
