I graduated from Jurong Junior College, Science course in December 2010.
I represented the school in Singapore Mathematics Olympiad in 2006 which was organized in conjunction with National University of Singapore and Ministry of Education. In 2007, I am also awarded the certificate of mathematics proficiency by Ngee Ann Polytechnic for achieving band 6 (1-lowest, 9-highest) in Mathematics Carnival 2007, representing the school.
I gave mathematics tuition to two secondary five girls from my former school, Gan Eng Seng School, and their grades improved drastically from F9 to C6 in only two months.
I am currently giving mathematics tuition to a Korean boy who is going to take entrance examinations late this year, a secondary 2 express boy from Gan Eng Seng School as well as a secondary 3 express girl.
Right now I am also assisting a mathematics teacher in Key Learning Centre.
I am also consistently giving mathematics tuition to my younger brother and his mathematics grade never slip, always an A1. He was secondary two express last year. In semester 1, his mathematics grade (the one recorded on report book) was 87.8%, in semester 2, his grade was 86%. He is now secondary three, taking triple mathematics.
Commitment Level I think the key to success is never giving up. Hard work pays off. If you work hard enough, you have a chance. You may not hit a home run but you always have a chance to step up to the plate and try.
Even though result may vary due to the child's ability to grasp certain information but as long as the child is willing to learn, I will give my 101% effort in improving his/her results.
I can start as soon as possible.
