Past Tutoring Experience
Pri 6 English Student preferred to go through the assessment book with her. I will guide her with the questions and explain to her how to get the answers. I will also correct her grammar and explain the vocab words when she do not understands. Student improved and passed her English for her mid yr exam.
Pri 2 EMS. Student is from China, has helped her in her composition writing skills, grammar and vocabs. I would request the student to write her compositions and mark (guide) her compositions sentence by sentence. While guiding her along, i would share with her how to improve her sentence and at the end share my views of her story line and also discuss with her on how to improve it. She has managed to improve her English grades in her tests. She did well for her maths and science. She is only particularly weak in her English.
Sec 4 English, Chemistry and maths. Student is weak in English both in written and speaking. Has help students to pass in his English oral examinations by guiding him on his reading and conversations. Students did fairly well and moved on to a polytechnic.
As a tutor, I am most confident in my Chinese language. Chinese is my commanding language. My compositions have been selected for my sec schs publications and have been obtaining "A" grades for all my Chinese examinations.
