Experience/Remarks

I specialize in teaching Primary School level and began tutoring 6 years ago. Coming from 2 SAP Schools - Kong Hwa School and Tanjong Katong Girls' School, I understand the importance of consistent revision and thorough understanding of the syllabus instead of just memorizing blindly. This will be help my students to score points when faced with challenging questions in exams. I will also do my best to sufficiently prepare them for every test and exam to ensure they can score well.

I am concerned with the grades of my students, and I believe that good communication with parents is vital. Guidelines on expectations and information on the child's progress can render the tuition to be more effective. Under my tutelage, my Primary School students have improved from borderline passes to the 80-90 marks range.

I am patient and friendly and I am able to interact with children well. I believe children must enjoy tuition before they can have the interest to learn more, and I usually take on the role of an elder sister, unless given instructions by parents to be very strict with them.
