Experience/Remarks

I have experience tutoring underprivileged primary school children during my weekly volunteering stints at Bukit Ho Swee Family Service Centre (Beyond Social Services), in 2008 and 2009. This experience made me realise that I enjoy coaching and helping weaker students with their work, and the satisfaction that comes with being able to help these students improve is what motivates me. Similarly, I make it a point to encourage the student to set an achievable, realistic goal to work towards, and to emphasise the need to use this goal as a form of motivation for the student himself.
