Experience/Remarks

I have been a tutor since 1993. I have taught a variety of students in the last 13 years from primary to secondary level.

In the last 13 years, I have taught mainly Maths and Science to Secondary students from Sec 1-4. I also teach Primary school students, mainly Pri 4-6. I'm easy-going yet firm. I have a proven track record of improvement for most if not all my charges.

My teaching methods usually involve assessments and past year papers. I would also use analogy and alternative way of explanation to teach all my students. For science, I may ask your child to conduct simple experiements. I believe that children and teenagers learn differently and would try and suit my teaching style to their learning style. I am able to connect and relate with most young children or teenagers.

I have taught in First Toa Payoh Primary School and Pei Chun Public School for the last 3-4 years. Currently I am back in NIE. I am majoring in Mathematics and Science.
