Experience/Remarks
I have been giving tuition for about three years, with a specialty in Mathematics.
All my past students achieved improvements in their Math tuition during the time that I have taught them. One of them achieved a B3 grade in her Math preliminary examinations, an improvement from a fail grade in just three months of tuition. My current student has also scored a B3 grade in his recent Math examinations, improving from a borderline fail grade in just four months of tuition.
I am a driven individual and would strive to help my students understand their subjects from a holistic point of view, so as to aid further application of their knowledge, instead of mere regurgitation or memory work. This would serve as a helpful guide in higher education, where application of techniques is demanded and commonplace.
A range of teaching materials may be used to help coach my students, depending on individual evaluation of their learning capabilities, and how best they receive and retain the knowledge taught.
