Experience/Remarks

I have been giving tuition for five years now. To date, I have handled more than 20 students, from Pri 2 to JC 2, for Maths and the Sciences. In 2010, I was ranked among the Top 10 tutors here. For about half a year I was taking 8 students and studying at the same time. Nevertheless, I committed myself to my students to the end of the year.

My style is 'Do it once, do it good.' We may have heard this ad nauseam, but cliched as it may be, this is the one guiding principle that has carried me through my years of education. The point is to be meticulous in our work, and this applies greatly for Maths and the Sciences. In the same way, I train my students to be as careful, to consistently produce work of high quality. Being meticulous means spotting errors early enough to prevent them from being carried forward - and I'm not just referring to mathematical solutions. We also rectify conceptual errors as early as possible to build strong foundations.

I was awarded the NUS Business School Award, and am currently pursuing a Double Degree in Accountancy and Engineering. So, I am also open to tutoring in Principles of Accounts.
