Experience/Remarks

I graduated from Ngee Ann Polytechnic with a Diploma in Accountancy. I have since been coaching and tutoring for the past 3 years. I enjoy teaching as I am able to learn from my students through teaching as well. Teaching allows me to pass down knowledge and it gives me great joy to see my student excel in their studies, seeing that your work, effort and commitment to your student actually pay off. I have undertaken 3 students previously and have helped them achieve their desired results. For one, I undertook him when he was in Sec 3. I coached him in his Sciences and Principal of Accounts. His grades improved from a borderline pass to B grades and from a fail to an A2 respectively for his O Levels.

I believe that expectations have to be made known before any assignment is taken up as this solves most problems before they actually occur. With expectations made known, the goal will naturally become clearer and easier to attain for both the student and myself.

I also teach piano. I have completed my ABRSM Grade 8 Practical Exam and will be pursuing my Diploma in time to come. I am teaching 1 student in classical piano. I am well aware of the updated piano syllabus. I teach both Classical and Pop piano.

Commitment Level

I am able to start asap. I am currently serving my national service and I work on a shift work basis. I am still able to commit on a regular weekly basis however tuition days would have to alternate between certain days.
