Experience/Remarks

I was a teacher at a Secondary School in the East, currently in charge of 5 Secondary 1 classes. I teach 3 Science classes and 2 Math classes.

I gained my teaching experience there, having to teach and guide students of many different learning abilities. I have learned to handle different kinds of students as I have a mixture of good and weak students.

The Mid Year Exams just passed and my students produced terrific results. I have at least 20 distinctions for my better classes and have a 95% passing rate for my weaker class, with half the class scoring As and Bs. I am happy for what I achieved in my students, and I am proud of my students too.

I have an abundance of exercises, worksheets, notes, practice/exam papers collected. I hope those can be put to good use. )

I have also been a guidance to some the students in my weak classes. They dared not dream about passing in secondary 1. However, just before the Mid Years, all of them confidently told me that they were aiming for a B at least. So I believe I am a good motivator.

Through teaching of different students, i developed different strategies to teach different students according to their learning abilities.

Commitment Level

I can start as soon as possible. University will start in August at NUS for me, but this is not a problem.
