Experience/Remarks

Having an excellent Academic record and several leadership positions including Captain of SMU Tennis and Marketing Director of the SMU Run Team, I am a responsible and meticulous tutor. From having interacted with such variety of people in the course of my responsibilities and roles, I understand that every individual has different learning styles and will adapt my teaching method to suit each of my students.

Formerly having taught at Anglo-Chinese School (Independent) and helped with the setting of tests and creation of assignments, I have had teaching experience and am confident that I will be able to effectively guide my students along.

I do not believe in simply memorizing material and regurgitating at test-time. I hope that through my explanations and examples, my students will develop a clear understanding of each concept or how a conclusion has been derived. Through ensuring that the foundation is in place, it allows my students to then apply these when new related concepts are taught.
