Experience/Remarks

I've got a one year experience teaching a primary 3 boy with cerebral palsy. After giving tuition in English, Math and Science, his grades improved from Cs and Ds to all Bs. Due to his condition, much patience was required as i had to continueously explain certain concepts and ideas while dealing with the fact that his learning is slightly slower as compared to that of his peers. Constant encouragement was needed to keep him going and interested in the subjects he studied while i had to adopt a slightly different teaching method to keep him focus on the tuition session. The one and a half hour sessions had short time-off periods to enable him to digest and absorb the required information before proceeding. Overall, his parents were happy with the results of the tuition but it had to be discontinued due to my A levels and subsequently, my National Service.

Commitment Level

I can start asap and will be able to continue tuition for as long as possible.
