Experience/Remarks

I am currently teaching Theory of Knowledge at a premier school in Singapore, as well as mentoring many students in essays. I used to teach Philosophy at a top girls' school.

I have had 1 year's experience of teaching an N Level student English, Geography, Physics and Mathematics, as well as a Primary 5 student English and Mathematics. Both students graduated with A's in their respective final exams.

The former student improved in all areas in which I guided him, improving from an average of C6 in all areas to an A2 in English, Geography and E Mathematics, and to a B3 in Physics. In his final exams, his overall average improved to an A2, thereby placing him in the top 10 of his class and cohort.

The latter student improved from a failing grade in both subjects to B's in her mid-terms, and continued her improvement which showed in her final exams straight A's, placing her in the top 5 in her class and top 10% of her cohort.

At the same time, I was a volunteer tutor at the undergraduate level, teaching a group of 6-10 peers in Logic. These students improved from C's to scoring A+'s in their final exams.

Commitment Level

I am only able to provide tutoring in the evenings and weekends at the moment.
