Experience/Remarks

I had taught 5 O Level students in POA, 2 N Level students in POA and 1 Polytechnic student in accounting.

I will go through the concepts first and ask students to apply them through practicing on ten year series. Given enough time, I will normally summarise the stuff that was gone through.

Although I do not take POA in my secondary school days, I am capable of teaching that subject as I had graduated with diploma in Accounting & Finance from Temasek Polytechnic. Thus, I have access to more challenging questions.

Normally, I will not give my students homework as I think that students already have a lot of school assignments to do, so I do not want to add to their workload. I believe in quality spent during the few hours and in the process make learning more enjoyable for the students.

I am also open to teaching polytechnic business related subjects such as business finance, financial & management accounting, investment, financial analysis, macro and micro economics etc. I believe by teaching these subjects is also a good revision process for both me and the students.
