Experience/Remarks

I have about six years of experience in teaching students ranging from age 4 to 16. Mathematics and sciences are the main subjects that I have taught.

I have taught students who are in the upper primary and secondary levels. I find joy in interacting and guiding students and I enjoyed the satisfaction after realising that my student had thoroughly understood a new concept that I had taught and he/she is able to apply the new concept learnt into solving questions of different scenerios.

Currently, I have 6 students -- 1 student in Secondary 1, 2 students in Secondary 2 and 3 students in Secondary 4. I usually teach each student depending on his/her pace. After a few lessons, I will be able to gauge what is his/her standards, so that I can tune my lessons to a suitable pace for the student.

If a student is fast in his/her learning, I am able to teach things that are out of the textbooks, allowing the student to have a better understanding or to further fulfill their interests and curiosity on a particular topic or subject. I believe by doing so, the student will be able to have a clearer concept in the topic or even develop deeper interests, pushing himself/herself to learn and read up more.

I also provide Mathematical Olympiad training for Primary, Junior and Senior Divisions.

I am more than happy to welcome more students, hoping that I can spread my interests in mathematics to them. =)
