Experience/Remarks

I am an ex Hwa Chong student awaiting enlistment. To me, a good tutor is one that is able to ignite the interest and fervor for the language to his tutee. In order to excel in examinations, genuine interest in the subject and learning efficiently are very important. As the recent trend of questions suggests, mere rote-learning or hard memorizing does not secure a good grade anymore. I am confident of teaching my tutees in the most efficient manner possible, according to his/her aptitude and strengths. I am a flexible person, so any extra intensive lessons or switch in lesson time slot can be arranged. Having taken my A levels recently, I'd say I am well-versed and up-to-date with the requirements of the syllabus. Although I have not had any formal tutoring experience before, I had taught a group of 2-3 students Combined Science (Biology/Chemistry) at Chestnut Drive Secondary School over a span of 1 week. I am willing to make up for my lack of experience with my sincere dedication, by going the extra mile to give my tutees a push for their quest of academic excellence.
