Experience/Remarks

I have been teaching Elementary Mathematics for secondary 3 and 4 students for the past 3 1/2 years. Currently, I am working as Allied Educator in an autonomous school in the east side. I am doing co-teaching on Combined Science (Phy/Chem), Normal Technical Science for Upper Secondary and Elementary Mathematics for the weaker students. I have recently tutored an NUS undergrad doing a minor in Mathematics and taught on topics such as Linear Algebra, Differential Equations and Fourier Analysis.

My most important viewpoint as a tutor and an educator to be able to bring out the potential that in hidden in the child. I will always identify the key interests and aspirations of the students and be ready to offer my advice on how to achieve their goals and targets. With regards to the learning of Mathematics, it goes beyond just practicing problems sum and memorising equations. It is being able to associate your learning with real situations to make study of Mathematics very enriching and interesting.

Commitment Level

I will be able to start at the end of the school term i.e. end of November. I will be available on Wednesday evenings, Saturday and Sunday mornings.
