Experience/Remarks

I have 2.5 years of experience teaching mostly secondary school science and math subjects. I'm beginning to teach JC economics as well. I have taught numerous students of different calibre and therefore I'm familiar with dealing with both weak and strong students.

My favourite students are the actually weaker ones as it is quite satisfying to work together with the student to achieve grades that he/she previously thought was impossible. I usually follow the student's pace of learning. After all, this is the beauty of private tuition--to enable the student to learn at a comfortable pace. For weaker students, I normally try to get them familiarise with the core content of the subject before trying questions. As for stronger students who most probably are already familiar with the content of the subject, I tend to focus more on application questions and answering skills.
