Experience/Remarks

My experience in teaching spans a wide range of different age groups from primary school kids to secondary school teens. Majority of my students do well but i do not feel it is right to advertise how many grades they have improved from my teaching because improvement in grades is not something which i can guarantee. If the child works together with me, he/she will improve in their studies. What i can guarantee is my commitment to teaching your child. It requires superb communication skills and knowledge in handling students. Each student is unique and thus requires a different method of approach. This is the job of a tutor. It is to sit down with the child discover how he learns and tailor his education to suit his style of learning. This personalised teaching methods is not feasible in a classroom setting. Besides private tuition, I have also taught basic english and maths to students in prison. I am currently teaching two Secondary 4 students English, Chemistry and combined science and at the same time i have a few primary school students.

I am a person who is an avid science lover and strongly believes that tuition lessons are suppose to be fun, enjoyable and fruitful. Most importantly i would i say i would be satisfied with a student if he/she has developed a strong interest in their academics and has developed an inquisitive mind.

Commitment Level

I can start immediately and I am extremely flexible with my timings. I normally arrange lessons with my students via sms as I understand that school activities may last till late evenings and sometimes even at night. Thus with this flexibility i give my students the freedom to plan their lessons to complement their ever changing school schedules.
