More Coordinators Wanted

We want to clarify that the job as a coordinator in StarTutor is not about subscribing to our tutor database and you are on your own to run the tuition business. In fact, we will never open our database on a subscription basis because we treat our customers and tutors' data with utmost security and privacy.
In StarTutor, we thoroughly train all our coordinators well enough so that they can work independently. Not mentioning the convenience of our IT system, we will be always here to support each other so that we can provide the best service to our customers in a professional and timely manner.

StarTutor Server Upgrade

We have upgraded to a new server over the weekend and are currently monitoring the application. However, this would not affect the operation of StarTutor.

Clean Up Inactive Tutor Accounts

In an effort to provide up-to-date information to our customers and coordinators in sourcing tutors efficiently, we have done a major clean up of inactive tutor accounts today.
We have built a function to scan through the tutor profiles one by one. At high level, we are deactivating tutor accounts with the following conditions:
1. Tutors who have not logged into the accounts and have not replied to 10 tuition request SMS for the last one year.
2. Tutors who have not logged into the accounts and have not received any tuition request SMS for the last two years.
In case if your account has been deactivated, you may use our
Contact Us form to request for reactivation.
We encourage all tutors to regularly update the accounts with comprehensive details so that our customers and coordinators can match you to the tuition requests effectively.

Write Feedback on Our Coordinators

Dear tutors,
After receiving a number of suggestions, we have built a simple coordinator feedback system which is available within your tutor account under the "Request" tab.
Regarding a particular tuition request, you can rate our coordinator and write an review about him/her as long as the request is active in your account.
Please be assured that the feedback is strictly confidential and our coordinators will not know your identity. The full details will be only made accessible to StarTutor's management team. It is meant for our service review so that we can improve further to serve you better.

No District is Indicated in Tutor Account

Dear Tutors,
We believe that some of you may wonder why no tuition request has been broadcasted to you.
One of the reasons is that you may have neglected the indication of your preferred districts in your tutor account. As this is one of the critical matching criteria in our system, you will not be contacted for any tuition assignments if you do not indicated any districts in your preferred area section.
If possible, please login to your tutor account today to update the preferred area section to include the districts. We advise you to indicate maximum 15 districts as the system will penalize your rating for any number larger than 15.
