Corporate IT Trainers Wanted

Dear Tutors,

StarTutor is currently searching for proficient IT trainers who are confident in handling corporate learning group for Microsoft Words, Excel and PowerPoint.

If you are interested, send us a cover letter of not more than 250 words to tell us more about your experience and expertise in the IT field and a personal resume. On top of that, a detailed plan of a 2-day course structure (either basic / advanced Microsoft Words, PowerPoint, or Excel) will also need to be submitted together with your resume. Kindly email these items to Gavin@StarTutor.sg with the subject as “IT Corporate Learning”.

Group Tuition Function Added to Tutor Account

Dear Tutors,

Throughout the years, we have seen an increase in demand for group tuition from our customers. As such, we are glad to announce that you will now have the option to start your own group tuition classes at your preferred location. This all-new feature will allow you to specify the timings for different levels and subjects, rates per hour, as well as the maximum class size. Customers will then be able to view all these information when they are looking through your tutor profile.

To make full use of this feature, log in to your StarTutor account and click the “Group Tuition” tab. Simply set the group tuition status to be “Enabled” to start scheduling your own group tuition classes.

Dear Customers,

We are glad to announce our new batch of StarTutor Pros for 2009! This year, 8 new tutors have joined the ranks of StarTutor Pro after going through a stringent selection process and an extensive interview session with us.

StarTutor Pro was first launched in 2007. It is a programme unique to StarTutor where we showcase top tutors with outstanding teaching experience and good track records from customers and coordinators. These tutors have exceptional qualities in teaching, and are in high demand from parents who expect nothing but the best.

Integrated PayPal as Online Payment Gateway

In an effort to provide even greater convenience for our customers , we have recently integrated PayPal as our online payment gateway.

Other than Internet banking, ATM transfer and mailing us the cheque, now you may pay your bill online with your VISA or Master cards. We have included simple instructions on the bill for your reference. Moreover, we will absorb the credit card transaction charges. After all, we just want you to save some time from the old payment methods.

More Coordinators Wanted

We want to clarify that the job as a coordinator in StarTutor is not about subscribing to our tutor database and you are on your own to run the tuition business. In fact, we will never open our database on a subscription basis because we treat our customer's data with utmost security and privacy.

In StarTutor, we thoroughly train all our coordinators well enough so that they can work independently. Not mentioning the convenience of our IT system, we will be always here to support each other so that we can provide the best service to our customers in a professional and timely manner.
